It's an interesting theory. It's so hard to get a reading on what the AFL actually think of our management. We hear from them all the time about how they have total faith in Trigg and co, but then slap us with sanctions that match or outweigh those given for worse indiscretions by other clubs, and later say we weren't co-operative.I find this interesting because chappy stated that the constitution was being written to protect the incumbents from exactly this occurrence. What I'm not sure about is whether the license handover and constitution have been finalised. Make no mistake, despite what our dear leaders say, our current decision makers are not well regarded at afl house. My conspiracy theory is that the afl are holding off on approval of our license and constitution because they don't want the current board to empower themselves into eternity.
Of course, the constitution could be finalised and I'm just a typical crack-pot with no idea.

We almost never hear public dissent for the AFL from anyone associated with the club, which annoys many of our supporters. Perhaps they're bigger agitators than we think?
I reckon we were questioned specifically by the AFL when the media started mentioning the deal and Trigg gave them a categorical denial that there was anything untoward in Tippett's contract... which we know is technically true but obviously deceptive and misleading. This is why Demetriou labelled us dishonest.
well if you have read it here, then I doubt there is much truth in it.please note - don't take my word as gospel. i could very well have misinterpreted what i've read here

This sounds awesome and will make a great headline for Michelangelo to steal, but #roodetat isn't exactly Twitter friendly...
