Didn't we volunteer some of these penalties?

Obviously he's referring to the suspensions of individuals rather than the picks.
He volunteered us picks hoping he would get off lighter.

What is more important the club or the individual?

If Trigg wanted to truly act in AFC's best interests, he would have taken the complete fall for Tippett-gate & AFC would have found a sponsor to keep him employed.

Yeah, rather than offering up our picks why not do what Essendon have done and had some senior staff who were at fault take responsibility?

That is not what Vlad said/demanded on the day!
He is rewriting history.
He is full of BS.
Before it came out who it was I'm pretty sure vlad said something like I know who said it and they had better start looking for a job in another industry. It was very exciting at the time. At least until I found out who it was.

I feel sick saying it, and I'm a long way away from it yet... But look at Port...

Good administration, great coach, fantastic young list...

I couldn't ever bring myself to abandon the Crows, but I've never actually felt jealous of Port supporters before - yet, now, I feel so disenfranchised and disrespected by the management of the Crows, I do.

Oh, and that's in the midst of being in discussions with the AFC to buy a corporate package worth around $9k for the first Adelaide Oval season.
I would NEVER under any circumstance follow Port ... but I will reduce my Crows memberships next year as I have had a gutful of the BS we have been fed. I have been attending games since year 1.

Spot on Sanders.

He implied Rendell was guilty of other things and so blackened Rendell's name....

Then the doozy, construes this as being fair to Rendell.
I would love Rendell to come out & give his view on the matter.

I would seriously doubt Rendell has done anything like the damage to AFC that Trigg has done or is implying.

Blaming others for your stuff ups (& he has blamed nearly everyone else in this universe rather than owning up) just confirms he is the wrong person to be CEO of AFC.

Seriously. What do you do? What do you do?

As a supporter who is thoroughly disgruntled what are your options?

I'm not changing allegiances, I'll always feel passionately about our on field players but at some point a message simply must be sent to the organisation.

Do you walk away from football in general and follow a new sport? Someone help me here because I'm suffering an identity crisis of sorts where I love my club and ******* loathe everything about them all in one.
Like you I'm disillusioned with AFC management.

I'm thinking it is time to write a serious letter to AFC & have a list of members (petition) who threaten to end their membership with AFC.

There are exceptions, obviously. Usually those are in the top handful of picks - and very few end up in sides that actually challenge for the premiership in the next couple of seasons.
Ever considered trading a draft pick for a particular player type to finish the puzzle. Ever heard of Darren jolly. We've lost any opportunity we may have had in that dept as well. Not saying we were 1 or 2 players away from challenging in 13/14, but that's 100% off the table now.

I'll happily sign it.

Why?? Nothing ever happened by sitting on your hands...
Sorry. Obviously missed my cracking wit/facetiousness!

I was referring to Trigg labelling those who want to know the truth or want change as an agitator. In essence you, me and 95% of this board.

I'm happy to help with this.

I've decided that I won't be renewing my membership next year unless something changes.

I feel exactly the same way mate. With the AFL becoming a complete farce under Vlad's guidance, the one thing that has kept me watching is my love of the Crows. I now despise what we stand for so much that I find myself wanting to give up the sport altogether.

When tuning into the game on Saturday I almost wanted us to lose - I guess I thought that maybe getting pantsed by an expansion side might cause some kind of change (naive I know). However when I saw the players run out in the Crows guernseys I couldn't help but root for them and hope we had a huge win. It's a terrible range of emotions to go through as a supporter. I've already decided to not renew my membership - still considering whether to give up on the sport altogether.

Just saw a post on Facebook from the Crows advertising their 2014 memberships. Appalling timing at best. Most people are voicing their disgust with the club in the comments section, with the odd smattering of sheep crying 'you're not a true supporter rah rah'. Not that it will make a difference, but at the very least I know that whoever runs the Crows social media side of things reads that page, so it might be a good place to make your feelings known.

Reading that "Adelaide Crows Pride" Facebook page is cringeworthy. How can so many people be welcoming him back with open arms? Anyone who dares question Trigg's "supreme leadership" is immediately howled down:rolleyes:. It's a worrying sign that so many supporters can just blindly follow the party line like that and accept the man who has put our future premiership chances at risk with open arms.

I was about to post some of those comments in here. I hate getting sucked into arguing with those morons but it always happens. :p
