without america we wouldn't get great music, great movies, great inventions.
sure there are a few racist nazi loving prats like cheney, and imbeciles like bush, and napalming lying rodents like rumsfeld, but by and large americans are probably more like us than we'd like to admit.
midwest folks are a lot like west australians, a bit slow but generally nice, the deep south is a bit like north queensland, feral racist imbeciles, the industrialised east, is a bit like out east coast, detroit is a bit like geelong, and the catskills so like moe and snowtown that they even wear the same dungarees
Its interesting to note, that while the american govt is probably the most racist, imperialistic bunch of freaks since governor ceasar crossed the rubicon to become the great dictator, the american people are amongst the most generous per capita in the world, giving more in donations, per capita than I think any other OECD country in the world (I think posted november last year ish in The Economist).
I sometimes think those who are against the extreme right of america are anti american.
