Well it's been an interesting journey for Mr Houlihan but i think his time at Optus Oval may have come to an end, perhaps he might like to spend some time down at St.Wonderland with Nick and the Crybabies, he should fit right in.
Houlihan and Pick 20 for Goddard and a third round pick????

Yeah, St Blunda have wanted him for years. I'd do just a straight swap for Goddard...

can't see the Saints going for that one really.

At best, i think we could expect a late 2nd rounder / 3rd rounder for Houlihan.

Geez, surely he is worth more than just a second round pick, being a bit harsh there, houlihan does have talent, just seems to find ways not to use it

on talent and potential he is worth more, but on performnces we will at best get a 2nd round pick unless he is used as a sweetener for another deal.

How about Houlihan and 2nd round pick for Goddard?
Goddard barracked for Carlton as a kid and would probably play centre in our team...oops that's already been suggested!

Players you are going to trade dont get dropped to the reserves where there value is reduced for other clubs.
Thats why Ryan will stay. They are trying to get him to work on his short comings and will perservere with him.

1 of Lappin/Campo will not be at the club next year.

Surely you won't get much for those 2, besides i believe they both have to stay, but you know, i don't make decisons for the footy club, be sad to lose 1 or
both of them. Houlihan has done nothing really and i believe they have persevered for long enough

Campo doesn't have any value and that is why he will stay but I believe Lappin could be traded to a team challenging for the flag in the next couple of years (St Kilda or Geelong) He would be valuable and Carlton could pick up some handy draft picks for a player that only really has around 2-3 years left in him and his heart isn't with Carlton

As for Houlihan, he is soft - trade him and I think that Houlihan and a third round pick for Goddard is a great deal!

I think, and hope he will stay. He has talent, just has to go at the ball a lot harder.
