Ok. Travis will be a star. But cameron and jason couldn't make the grade at most local footy clubs. they are absolutely pathetic. I cant help but wonder if collingwood only recruited jason and cameron so they could woo travis. its blatently obvious richmond was only interested in the youngest cloke.

Ok. Franklin will be a star. But Roughhead, Lewis and Nixon couldn't make the grade at most local footy clubs. they are absolutely pathetic. I cant help but wonder if Hawthorn only recruited Roughhead Lewis and Nixon so they could keep winning wooden spoons. its blatently obvious Collingwood stitched you up with Nixon.

Actually, Richmond showed the most interest in Jason. He was very highly rated as a young player, with most people thinking that he was the most talented.

However, Richmond wouldn't make the commitment to take the two younger brothers, while Collingwood did.

Further, Cameron Cloke is just about the most maligned player in AFL history with less than 20 games under their belt. Definitely the only player that's played less than 20 games yet has no room for improvement in the eyes of fans.

hmm what a joke about the clokes
jason is the only one at collingwood that is struggling but his still able to match it his only young still.

richmond tried there hardest to get travis cloke coz of his rep growing up of he was the best by far of the 3 and it shows in his early time.

hawk supporters shouldnt be chucking stones with the duds that they have got at there club

Gee I'm glad we got that straight.

Umm, why would you show so much interest in Collingwood?
Why would you bother to follow the playing history of three people who play for Collingwood?
Why would you come onto the Collingwood Board to pass on your keen interest in Collingwood?

I got it .... you secretly follow Collingwood.

Think you're wrong but even if you're right, it will be worth it, Travis is that good that carrying his brothers for a few years will be worth the hassle.

FWIW I think Cam will play 150 games for Collingwood and Jason will remain a handy back-up, maybe more for at least 2-3 years. And Trav will be a multiple Premiership captain at Collingwood.

there is nothing wrong with cameron and jason. cameron has had to stand up with the ruck load this season and considering he's only played 20 or so games, i think he's handled it really well. as for jason, i like him, but who would you take out of that backline to fit him in?

There are a number of ways to slot J Cloke into the side.

1.Maxwell and Swan have played well enough in recent weeks to potentially move into the midfield or forward line in the future.

2.Wakelin Presti and Clement arent getting any younger.

3.Clement and Maxwell are versatile enough to play on smaller forwards.

4.Our backline has been very lucky with injury this year.

There is room for J Cloke but he'll have to wait his turn, and maintain his good form in the seconds.

i know what your saying, but atm i would change nothing in our backline, i'm very happy with it and would like to see it kept the way it is unless we really have to.

Well I don't agree but I have to admit watching Hawthorn play every week does make you an expert on s**t footballers.

Once again, you being a Hawthorn supporter therefore means only your team has the right to slaughter the game? ;)

Mate you can't be serious? Lewis is seriously the best player in 2004 draft. Give Roughead a year or two and he will be better than any Collingwood player, and Nixon, he's a good player but i guess your right, he wouldn't be able to handle it in the big league.

T Cloke > L Franklin

J Cloke > J Lewis / J Roughead - (debut seasons, both can turn out to be duds)

C Cloke > B Nixon - (ahahahahahaha)

Why praise (sort of) Bo Nixon - Us Collingwood supporters are the only people who know what he is really like.

Cameron is not up to it. He continually finds a way to be 2metres from any tough contest without actually getting involved in it. Ive never seen a big man look so reluctant to fill a hole in front of a leading forward too - drives me crazy when he is "playing" in the ruck and he takes soft options with his positioning.

I did however win $10 when he took the big grab last Friday night and missed the goal - he was never going to kick it from 10m out directly in front after doing something right.

J.Clo surely has played his last game at the club.

T.Clo on the other-hand will be a star

Good Law Boy. Finally a collingwood supporter that isn't so one-eyed.

Jason Cloke would be getting regular games in Hawthorns joke of a defence and be hailed as a solid young player.
Cameron Cloke would be easily Hawthorns number 2 ruckman, and hailed as the next great ruckman.
Travis Cloke at Hawthorn would be hailed as the next Dermott Brereton.

We may have 'choked' in the grand final(s), but by the sounds of it you weren't alive to see your last one.
