Dan24 You are correct.

Wrestling is no more fake than all thos tv shows and more.

But then they are all make believe aren't they. I accept that the fans know this and still enjoy it. I accept that the producers know that and enjoy it.

The only thing is, all those other shows do not claim to be sports like most wrestling fans do.

Mind you I am still lost with this thread.

Wrestling does NOT even claim to be a sort.

It kis marketed as entertainment. In fact, it is marketed broadly as "sports entertainment".

It really has nothing to do with sport. It's theatre. And it doesn't pretend to have anything to do with sport.

The recent advertising campaign for the WWF was: "Get it ?"

Dan24, you are the only wrestling fan i have ever heard that says it is theatre. A few of my mates love it, and when i do say it is fake (despite your "if anyone else tries to tell me "but it's fake" comment, its an automatic reaction- sorry!!!!), they go nuts, telling me its all REAL and anyone who disagrees is just ignorant. Why couldn't more wrestling fans have your perspective on it. Seriously, some of the fans are dead set &@%$heads, and thankfully you are not one of them.

I love Kurt Angle. He's a pisser. He garners such a negative reaction from the crowd, which takes great talent with the microphone.

It looks as though Triple H is turning face (wrestling terminology for good guy), while Angle will remain a heel (terminology for bad guy) and take his wife.

I can't help but get sucked into it all.
