Talking Footy reported tonight that Rodney Eade's contract is unlikely to be renewed, and that Ken Hinkley has fallen out of favour with a number of people at Port and has been linked to the Gold Coast Suns

Gossip at best.... unless KT and Co have said maybe have a crack at it? win win for all?

Been told from a reliable source Ken's committed to gold coast senior head coach will sign a contract at the end of the year. Also Makes sense why trengrove and Pittard are yet to commit.
If this is half true watch KT and Kochie lose their nerve and sign him up to a 4 year extension.

No doubt by the drop in Crowd number I just threw up, KT and Co would be worried, they have dropped off the pace of the Crows after getting out the blocks early, success and a great game brings the crowds, Ken would know he's cooked.

Part of me lately has been thinking Lade and Bass seem very relaxed in front of the Monday press, maybe they know what's coming and are just playing cool cats...

I mean it would look better for KT if he left and didn't have to axe him wouldn't it? all the time working behind the scenes with one eye to 2018?

I can't see how they will retain him after yesterday, it's symptomatic of bigger problems and recurring problems.... we were embarrassed yesterday as a club, that was demoralising.

Our Blight-esque broom is coming.

If true, I think the Showdown performance would have been the straw that broke the camel's back. Prior to that turgid display, I think most were clinging onto the fact we could do some damage in the finals, we all now know better and Hinkleys tenure is now being openly questioned.
