Basically what Gough said. Live music is absolutely magical and IMO there is nothing better. Seeing a band/musician you love and absorbing all the atmosphere of everyone around you enjoying it and singing at the top of your lungs out of tune is one of the greatest things you can experience in life.

I guess if you have to go to a concert where it doesn't matter whether or not one can sing or not, or are out of tune or not, then Bruce Springsteen would be the perfect choice.:D

Yeah bucks seem to be more for the blokes trapped in relationships or desperately single than for guys that are happy with their lives single, married or on the way

.....but, I have been to Lord Howe island (when I was i the Navy) and when we were leaving, sailed past Balls Pyramid and a water spout.

I've never read Harry Potter either. I tried to like the movies, but just couldn't. Maybe I'm too old, but people the same age and older than me like the Harry Potter movies and books. Or perhaps I'm just a Muggle?

As for never having had a birthday party, it's a simple explanation really, my family aren't really party people and I don't recall my siblings having birthday parties either. I would hate to have one, I would feel uncomfortable with it.

I have 2 sisters and a brother, all older, the only party one of us ever had was the oldest one having her 21st at home. Otherwise, nil. I certainly never had one, I hardly went to any either. I guess it just wasn't really a done thing in the 70s and 80s.
 
I did 10 years in the Navy, worked in a prison for 4 years and have spent the past 7 years doing 12 hour shifts in the mines and I've never had a cup of coffee in my life. I've had a sip but can't stand the taste of it. Funnily enough, I love the smell of freshly ground coffee beans. I will drink a cup of tea but haven't even had one of those for at least 3 years. I have also never had a glass of wine in my life. Again I've had sips but it all tastes like cat's piss to me.

That look of anticipation when a friend gives you a glass and the anger and disappointment when you tell them, that just like all the rest, it tastes like cat's piss.
 
i think i had one birthday party when i was 10, but that was only with my grandparents and my aunty and uncle on mums side when i was 10, dont recall having any others, my sister had one for her tenth birthday aswell, but dont recall having any others

Actually, that's another one I can add to my list.

Never understood this one. Couldn't ever imagine going alone and really don't want to go with mates.
