Re: Useless Trivia - J.Brown at the Carlton Game

lol I can only laugh at all the Bigfooty tragics who post ridiculous stories of "I heard it from a good source that..." for six months of the year, then have something to say in this thread, when I made it absolutely clear that it was tongue in cheek.

If you ask me this is clear evidence that he will be at Carlton next year. Done deal:thumbsu:
Yeah, lets start discussing what number he is going to get?
My early prediction: No. 12

If I was an AFL player and wanted to chase a flag then Carlton would be my choice. I think there are a lot of non-Carlton people and players who rate the Blues much much more than a lot of supporters do.

Depends on a players intention, if money is the priority then I'm not sure if Carlton will be the choice.

We are in a good position to attract some good players! Good players + a good long outlook + good club environment + good facilities + money = Strong pulling power.

Honestly I think we have the strongest pulling power in the AFL ATM if the rumours that we have plenty of room in the cap are correct.

Hawthorn and The Bulldogs would be the other two sides (sides loaded with young talent).

Really when you look at it we have 3 major midfield players, Murphy,Gibbs,Judd and a FF in Fevola and a gun Ruckman/Forward soon Kreuser. The Defence is O.K,the guys will grow. The Missing link is CHF,who is a CHF Jonathan Brown. If it isn't Brown find a CHF off contract with talent not reached yet who hasn't had a major crack yet because someone got his spot at the moment.

The Midfield still have Stevens,Grigg,Scotland and others to rest the 3 guns.

If you wanted to go to a club now it's Carlton as Bulldogs,Geelong and the Hawks are fine.

Collingwood misses because they need to replace nearly a quarter of the 22 soon while Essendon have Fletcher,Lucus and Lloyd on the wrong side of 30.
