Just thought Id let you know that the Pies are looking at this kid and it seems like there is a distinct possibility that he'll be drafted to the club.

He's the younger brother of Mitch Morton and I think he has alot of talent. I feel like he'd be a good pickup for your club

He's 197cm and preety skinny at this stage (as all big men are at that age). Plays up forward as a KPP mostly for the Claremont colts side. Kicked 7 goals one weekend. Has got a bit of talent.

Id say he wouldnt be there later in the 2nd round. Maybe an early 2nd round pick Id say.

Yes he was. But they changed the rule when the Gibbs fiasco happened and now he is no longer eligible for us.

Yes he was, but was not actually eligible just as Gibbs wasn't. If it had been challenged then he could not have been drafted under F/S.

That is my understanding anyway, but the AFL (quite rightly) have said that he will remain on the WC list despite their error.

He ain't 197cm. He's closer to 190cm.

I think it's because at the start of the 2007 season WCE would be in the competition for 20 years. So WCE can't take father sons from WAFL, they have to be all from WCE players.

Morton is all quality. Moves like Dermot Brereton when he was a player (not the broken down hack he became). Not as physical as Dermie (but who is?)Great hands, reads the game, kicks goals. Will be a good player in the AFL as a third tall forward who can also pinch hit at CHF.

Meh I wouldnt say he isnt completely physical.
