How can he fail harder than Liam Bedford. Unless he goes on a killing spree at training and even then itd be about even.
Sounds like he is training to be a running defender which is MUCH different to his forward role at Richmond.
With Sheppherd, Smith however hes gonna have his work cut out for him if hes to get a real spot on the list.

Probably a loon. He was a good player at Geelong, he just had a TERRIBLE attitude. Made Ashley Sampi look like the Michael Jordan of hard work

Blinding speed is about the only worthy trait that Bedford has, other than he is probably a hell of I nice guy.
We have been drafting elite runners and speed machines, so there is always a chance that they aren't that good when it comes to winning or using the footy.
Having said that, I think most of the other speed machines/elite runners are genuine footballers so our side will cause some nasty headaches for opposing coaches in a couple of years.

I did some home work on Liam when we drafted him and the mail from Geelong was that he was one of their most respected players in Geelong's VFL team. It was his hard work that impressed but they felt he would not make the transition to AFL.
WCE believed Liam would be suited back home on the bigger ground and a fast surface, so gave him a life line.

I asked a Claremont player why he sucks so much and he said because he just isnt fit enough. He was supposed to be a running half back flanker but none of his teammates would give him the ball cos if they did he wouldnt get back in time to defend.
He did have little to no pre season and just didnt work his way back into a functioning player. Claremont dropped him to reserves and VERY quickly for a reason..

Of course he did, my bad, I had Box Hill on the brain, had just been talking about them beating Geelong in the finals last year. Got a good mate in South Melbourne who brought a pub in Geelong a few years ago. He is handy for info and has good contacts in racing as well.Didn't he play for the Geelong in the VFL

Ash Smith has really lifted his game, I know Metro has been very happy with his progress.
Is that Metro of the Daniel variety? Did you speak to him directly? If so what did he say?
Yea Daniel came into work and I had a quick chat wth him, asked him about Ash Smith and he was very happy with him.
