For a start European football means nothing to me, if it doesn't happen in England/involve an England team then honestly I don't give a toss.

But what I do know is Lazio still owe Manchester United a ton of money from Jaap Stam, are broke, and therefore should have some of that overpriced superstar European talent you used to hear so much about that could add something to United.

I also know United need a striker. Is there any talent we could use at Lazio.

Well the first thing I would ask is by 'we' do I take it that you support Man U.

The thing that always confuses me about the outstanding Staam money is that when it first came to light Man U still owed Lazio most of the Veron money so why didn't they just stop paying that?Makes perfect sense to me.

In answer to your question, Lazio had quite a batch of strikers I'm not sure if they're all stil there now or not as they've had to sell a few players.

There's one guy Claudio Lopez whose Argentinian & has been linked with Man U before so maybe he'd fit the bill. He's a pacy left footed striker who can also play on the wing.

The thing with Staam I read is that if Lazio don't pay his wages soon (& other players) then he can go on a free transfer wherever he wants.

Flashback scene Circa 1985:

Early morning and young Player is sitting in the backseat of the family while being driven to the Grandparents.

During the sports news I hear overnight Manchester United's season opening winning streak had just ended.

(From memory it was 2-2 draw with Luton)

Honestly I wasn't worried because I knew this must be United's year to win the First Division.

And the rest as they say is history. ;)

I guess that is when I knew I supported Man U.

That and I knew I 'disliked' Dalglish, Rush, Grobbelaar (sp?) and co.
