He has been a fantastic pick up certainly up with the very best choices the club has made in the last decade or 2. He has been tough and durable more so than anybody else at Collingwood in his time here, as I live in Brisbane I saw one of his last games at the Lions and I wondered why they had not played him much because he looked as good as most of there players at the time.

I was extremely happy when we got him as "steak knifes" in the Beams trade because he looked a player then and he has proven so since, 1 of the first players picked each week.
He must be nearing a 150 games straight a fantastic achievement for the Pies and along with the unlucky Langdon the 2 best decisions Collingwood has made since Sidey and Pendles.

It is just such a tragedy we balls up Beams mark 2 but in the 1st one we got a beauty in Crisp.

Not to mention DeGoey and Greenwood

It’s of some consolation that we are still a net winner out of the two Beams trades. And that’s due in a large part to Crisp.

What ? we are not net winners in the two Beams trades, getting him back at the club for 2 first rounders was one of the biggest fraud trades to go down.

Beams Out got us Crisp, De Goey and Greenwood.

Beams In cost us two first rounders.

Those picks became 21 and 18.

In the 2018 Draft we got Quaynor at pick 13, as a part of our academy, meaning we would have had to use pick 21 anyway, instead we were able to use a number of later picks.

2019, we got slightly burned as we could have had Mitch Georgiades.

I think its pretty close to even.

Yep. Could swing further our way if JDG starts to perform consistently to the level we know he's capable of.

I thinks that what I heard on the new a few nights back.

Would Crisp be close to a club record?
Jock McHale has the club record at 191 so Crispy has a way to go yet. McHale's playing longevity gets overlooked because of his coaching longevity!

I’m happy with a net return of Isaac DeCrispwood😀

I know we keep looking for midfielders to fill in the list atm. However, he should be a starting midfielder IMO. He has speed and is the only other left footer in our midfield bunch at the moment. We looked much better in the 2nd half when he went into the midfield.

Adams, De Goey, Crisp & Macrae. Pendles (when fit), Elliot (part-time) and maybe another youngster should be our midfield.

Play Noble in defence.

Hope the B&F gets him some more recognition. One of the most consistent, reliable and durable players in the whole competition. He's only just about to turn 28. Would love to see 4-5 more seasons of him.

Hard not to love a "rise to the top" story like Jack's.

Also has a quiet unassuming manner that is very becoming. Declared in his first year at the club that the "steak-knives" label offends him, and he has now proven everyone wrong.

He's not the knives, he's the whole fn meal and a bottle of Grange.

He's the kind of cutlery found at Vue de Monde or Attica. Not your ordinary steak knife throw-in!

Congratulations Jack Crisp.
