More likely a Brisbane fan doctored it, with the historical Dusty video leak the day before a game vs Brisbane as a pretty interesting precedent.

Wow, this one is nuts. Is there a different version I haven't seen? Because the one I saw shows none of anyone full frontal nude, and nobody with any of the drugs. Who cares about the text, that can clearly be doctored and in the case of someone wildly swiping through pics, one would think the worst of their intentions, right? I mean let's hope Crispy has seen it too and just denies.

If the AFL do anything over that they are opening players up to heavily edited and manipulated photos.

I don't think DalSanto and Riewoldt were suspended for their nude photos, were they?

I follow Crispy’s insta and it’s one of the most wholesome AFL player pages out there. So this is completely out of character. Weird.

Having stewed on it overnight and with more context there are two elements to it that would be concerning to the club and AFL. The language towards young girls and the drugs.

The catch is both are potentially easily explainable because that language between consenting adults over 18, while hard for some to stomach, is completely above board and AFAIK there’s no confirmation that Crisp took drugs and no timeline to indicate a punishment is warranted unlike Ginnivan. I’m personally not prepared to entertain the doctoring angle because I think it’s preposterous and media outlets would have done due diligence before running it.

Unless further detail comes to light (ala Bootsma/ T Thomas) I would be savage on the club if they stepped in to suspend him. The angle that I’d like to see explored in these types of circumstances is the profiteering on circulating this type of content. If I were Crisp and the person that leaked them didn’t actually receive them directly then I would be getting in contact with Sidey to discuss my options.

There's a heap of middle ground between punishing Crisp and doing nothing. This can easily be framed as an attempt at revenge p*rn

Agreed, based on what we know so far, no football punishment. But I can definitely see the case for sending him along to a Respect course. The standard you walk past is the standard you accept. Now its in the public domain, I'm not sure we can let that language/attitude go by without action. Of course that's without knowing the other half of the conversation Jack was participating in and what he was responding to.

The other factor about tonight's game, will Jack even be mentally right to play? I imagine its been a tough 12 hours for him so far and assuming this is new information for his wife, there is every chance he's got way more on his mind than how to fulfil his role against Brisbane.

Also spot on about the profiteering aspect. The AFLPA needs to make a stand against the media reporting on or buying leaked/secretly recorded content of players where there is no genuine need for public interest.
