All the more reason he must take the field tonight
It will be interesting to see if they pay special attention to any individuals …..

I agree Nick Daicos probably deserves a payrise
Here we go again. Another off-field scandal.
Over the past dozen or so years we have endured so many more of these things than any other club, by far. It’s unreal.
When the inevitable sanction comes, it will be a lousy way for Crispy to end his current longest AFL streak of consecutive games.
Nobody does own-goals as well as Collingwood!

Sanctioned and miss games for what?
At this stage these pics could be in 2013, for all we know. The posts on the pics could’ve been placed there by a friend or ex teammate or someone just taking the p155.
We really have no idea about these pics, and what association Crisp has with some of the pics eg. Illicit drug references.
All we know he has been a solid citizen for a long period of time, particularly since he has had his kids, and a role model within our club. He may have done some stupid snap chat pics when he was younger, playing a fool but l don't think we should be hanging him now for historical images that some f wit has decided to release to the public.
I think he will play tonight, play well, his teammates will get behind him, the coaches will support him, as will the club.
If he gets a fine or a suspended suspension period, l would be happy with that, but he shouldn't be missing games straight off the bat. As a member, l would be pissed at the club if that occurs.
What would the club/media/AFL’s response be if this was an AFLW player?
There would be endless articles on toxic masculinity and revenge pr0n etc.
This is only a scandal because Collingwood sell news and people don’t have the intelligence to be consistent with their standards.
That's the issue with the way the AFL and Collingwood have handled things recently. In a bid to be in-step, they're out of step with society. Current best practice and theory is to criticise the leakers and dessimenators and legislators have tightened and are in the process of furhter tightening legislation to make prosecution easier. Yet last year Pies had 3 of their players face this sort of stuff within the space of 3 weeks and their actions were to give negative consequences and make negative comments about their players, joining in the completely inappropriate pile on and not make any public comments about the publication of this private shite. Thanks for this. I’m trying to stay out of it, and I haven’t seen the pics or video in question, but I’ve been feeling for his wife. Young family, always look happy when seen in the media - this could be devastating for her.
I hope they hang in there and get through this.
But something has to be done about private material being made public without consent. Is it that hard to trace the source? Cowards.
There is a definite cringe / Uriah Heap mentality developing and not just at sporting clubs. That's the issue with the way the AFL and Collingwood have handled things recently. It would save me changing my username.Trade him! Introduce the midseason trade period….effective now…… let’s get Grundy back….![]()
Cheers. Figured by the front pages news and flashing (hehe) reports on tv it was more than likely the old Collingwood storm in a teacup for clicks type story. Not even confirmed that the nudes are of him.
And apparently he’s got Dal Santo measure comfortably.Look at the bright side, at least it's not JDG![]()
Amen swoop line in the sand time.Given that some have stated that lewd photos of Crisp have circulated in prior years (and that he was even charging for nudes at some point) I highly doubt he's going to be sitting out tonight because of mental health. He's clearly not that shy.
I suspect also his consecutive games total is a point of pride and he wont be surrendering that over this.
No, the only way he misses tonight is because of some overreaction by the AFL or our club.
Big early test for Craig Kelly and as a member I expect him to have the back of our player Crisp.
He must play!
F*** em.
Of course they will ..
Crispy must play and play out of his skin tonight.
Pies need to rally behind him and smash Brisbane on the scoreboard.
Time to make a statement against these lowlife cheap shot merchants looking for a quick buck.
The only way to make them think twice.
Yeah that tooI mean the Collingwood players targeting lions who they suspect might be at the bottom of this…..
expecting a spicy game. I'm hoping this galvanises the team even moreso & makes them extra ferocious.I hope so. And I hope he gets BOG.Will they make a big deal of him breaking collingwoods record for most game’s consecutive tonight?
