Whilst I understand the concept of the term Steak Knives, especially under the circumstances of the trade but I think the term is insulting.

I know Jack doesn't like the term and I don't blame him, as it makes a joke for his standing in the game and makes him feel undervalued.
I consider it a shrewd trade acquisition by our part.
We saw talent, we acquired him and he has worked his arse off and repaid the faith.

One of the greatest quotes in footy, I think, is the one by John Kennedy relating to "Do something!" I just love it and to me, the run from Jack last year, when he took the ball forward from defence with no plan other than to change the course of the game, and it ended up in a goal when we were really struggling is a prime example of a player taking it upon himself to do something for the team. I said last week that I see him as a match day captain in some respect. Not as strategic as Pendles but someone who sees a chance to have a positive impact and takes it.
