This post references Crispy's impact over the last 10 years.
On their rankings he's 17th in the competition.
He's behind Pendles as the top ranked Pie.
He's ranked second behind Dusty and in front Hodgey as top ranked finals player.
Outstanding!!

There's been plenty. Mentioned on every footy show I've watched & listened to. Plenty of social media coverage.
We need more.
This is one of the great achievements

If it's being mentioned on every show on tv & radio already & it's still only Wednesday, not sure how much more they can do. There's still Thursday, Friday & Saturday to come 🥴
More.

Pendlebury 410 games. Most games played for Collingwood. Currently 3rd most of all time.
Sidebottom 338 games. Second most games played for Collingwood. Currently 31st most of all time.
Crisp 256 games. 244 consecutive games played for Collingwood. Equal most of all time.

While we all celebrate the extraordinary achievement of Crisp this week, I'd like to acknowledge the original talent identification of Derek Hine.

While nobody is perfect, his legacy at Collingwood is assured forever. An off field all time great and not a No.1 pick in sight for the 3 players above!

Thanks Derek.

Pendlebury in particular, not rated top 10 that draft and a big WTF moment when he picked him but now staring down 500 games

First 6, I think, of his streak were at Brisbane.

Next achievement to reach is 245 consecutive games AT COLLINGWOOD!

Actually he could probably celebrate a 250th game again - this time consecutive! lol

Modern art is getting quite strange …

… Pendlebury catching an egg being laid by a male goat

Not much media coverage so far on Jack’s record.
Why is that?

Media coverage about Collingwood this year is down IMO.

Probably because Collingwood being on top of the ladder isn’t of much interest to anyone but Collingwood supporters.

And our club/coach doesn’t give them much with the whole “we’re just trying to qualify” and “we’re just trying to get better every day” and “we’re not a finished product” stuff.

Best to go under the radar. That's when we seem to thrive.
