Champion Data has something like the top 5% ranked players cited as elite so by their definition he is. Top 30 league wide for intercepts in 2018, top 50 for meters gained. There are probably others he ranked high in.

I can't think of another player league wide who is as good defensively, as good in a contest and offers as much line breaking run as he does. He's a gun. Inconsistent kicking is an issue, but he always improves in this regard over the course of the year.

To be honest its 4 of his last 5 games so its still pretty relevant when judging his most recent performances, even more so when you account for the pressure he was under in those games. Considering he’s always been a more consistent type i’d back him to atleast get close to his best.

It's a good bet, but the AA selectors not even having him in the squad last year suggests that they way undervalue him.

I feel like Crispy is starting to get a bit of his long overdue recognition outside the club. There were some positive comments made about him in the media over the weekend.

I've always found it weird that he slips under the radar. He's a good looking kid, loves to run with the footy and can kick it long. What's not to like?

And played 6 games with Brisbane in a row prior to crossing to us (or is that cutting to us )
So he’s played 101 straight without missing and 95 for us.

For what it’s worth Jock McHale has our consecutive games record at a whopping 191 games straight.
