So far, we can only make these assumptions:
1) the videos may be from several years ago and maybe even during his tenure at the Lions
2) He may only be shown to be making references to illicit substances and is not shown to be with them and/or taking them.
3) He may have made a derogatory remark about women

And I say may because this video may be bogus and contrived.

There seems to be a hell of a lot he would need to admit to because of the difficulty of the AFLIU proving any of it.

So how old is the incident? Where do we draw the line? What if he had a punch on in primary school? Does the MRO hand out a 6 week ban on old evidence not related to the game?

*n msm and the hun sh*t me to tears.

This'll just galvanise Jack and the team, thanks for given us the motive for steely resolve and the cup!

a video of someone scrolling through pics of him isn't that hard to make. If he denies it how can they prove anything?

$$ Oh and for pos, like Caro and ralph malph they have an axe to grind against us.

$$ Oh and for pos... i'm not an expert in abbreviation talk. but regards those two, I dont read them enough but I would admit that wilson seems to have made her specialty in controversial peripheral news. I realise that she quarantines the tigers, but i would have thought other teams are targets. Once again, I would say that pie supporters are their own worst enemies complaining about her and even reacting to her. I think most sports writers write stories where they get the most clicks.

100% exactly this - she's knows SFA about the game - it's a disgrace she's earns the money she does ( guess it's x the average wage) spouting the sh#te she spouts

Quick question.

I'm sure I remember something along these lines coming out about Jack a few years ago. Was it a different video, same video or have I just fantasised about a naked Jack Crisp?

If it did come out years ago, it's pretty simple:

"We were made aware of this video 4 years ago. Jack received a consequence at the time and undertook training regarding his online behaviour. We are delighted with the growth of Jack as a person and are unwilling to re-visit and apply a new consequence every time the same video resurfaces on social media."

And then give the Hun a massive clip.

Seek it out when possible or greatly exaggerate a story and back it up with ominous music and a confronting voice over.

The world is ending. We are all doomed.
but this is the problem, domie. Do you blame the snake oil salesman or the person who buys the snake oil thinking it will make them irresistible to women.

honestly, I get shivers when I hear cane cornes or nathan lyon on SEN talk about how pie supporters are ringing in to complain about stuff. They are laughing inside because it's clickbait....I think pie supporters are some of the most gullible people...

well if the owners of the paper believe she is getting enough reaction, then they pay her. The owners are Nine who obviously own channel 9 and the herald sun.... and they DON'T have rights to the AFL.... so that might indicate something... These sports writers wouldnt last long if they came under the umbrella of an organisation that was benefiting from the rights... or maybe controversy is good in all circumstances unless you kill the product

Caro doesn't need to know about the game. She doesn't report on the game. She reports on its governance. I think she's one of the better footy journalists, which isn't hard.

footy journalist....usually a contradiction in terms although she probably makes it in under the journo classification

AFL to investigate. Seems like any penalty would come down to Crisp admitting drug use. Would get a strike and likely suspension. If he denies, then can't see anything happening unless Collingwood/AFL dealt a suspension for "disrepute", basically PR.

Personally I don't care about the personal illicit drug use of any player or other member of society, provided they are not hurting anyone. Nobody's business but theirs as far as I'm concerned. Though I do acknowledge that when such usage becomes public there is an image issue for both club and AFL. Don't think there should be, but here we are.

I'll await the outcome of the investigation, won't be reading another thing on this till then.

You would think it would actually be in the AFL's interest to shift the narrative towards breaches of privacy/finding and prosecuting the leakers rather than punishing the players.

How does it serve the AFL's interest to be at the perpetual mercy of random blackmailers/leakers by reactively doing what they want every time? Get that rug up and start sweeping like you normally do.

Ah well, better it drops in April than September.

This may be for more learned individuals than you or I, but does the AFL’s illegal drugs policy apply out of season? Say for instance the drug use took place in October 2018 during the players mandated break does the AFL still have jurisdiction? I’m not sure about Ginnivan, but Crouch and Stengle were charged with conduct unbecoming and both incidents took place within the AFLPA season window. The weird part is Crisp and the club have 5 days to get their story straight and given the circumstances I would hope they tell the AFL anything that sees him avoiding suspension.

It has been reported:
That the video is historical and Crisp has been aware of it for several years
He has not denied the existence of the posts
That the AFL Integrity Unit will interview Crisp next week
That if he admits drug use regardless of when it occurred the AFL will impose the first strike and will suspend him for two weeks
