But massively well deserved. He’s one of the best defenders the club has ever had.

Reckon he is just behind St.Francis and Rance as the best defender I have seen at Richmond. Reckon Vlastuin is not all that far behind and sits with Keane and Sheedy, Clay and a few others pretty comfortably.

A lot of players didn’t have their best years hence our ladder position.
Grimes a deserving winner for this year plus the past 4 years.

I'm sure he'd be first to admit this wasn't his finest season, but he was our most consistently best and nobody deserves a JDM more than Grimesy for all his years of top-shelf service.
