Because everyone hangs around with ball in hand long enough to be hit by a fridge.

What game are you watching? :)

Maybe I've been watching the same games that Carlton's recruiters were watching when they offered him 4 years @ $600k per year ? Chequebook football. Never change Carlton.

He is very much a well loved and respected player at Richmond and also the supporter base , When do you get this sort of thing for a 22 year old pick #53
Our club culture and work ethic is alot better with JG at the club and the kids that are trying to get into the starting 22 see what needs to be done.

Whats also very important and something Mick Malhouse used to say was no point giving me a player that can play in the regular season but goes to water in finals - I dont need them find me players that play when the games mean something

2017 GF & 2019 Prelim - JG was massive

Was captain of the SA U18s in his draft year. Amazing that he slipped to 53 really considering he was the Larke Medalist that year too but the knock on him was that he was a manchild with limited development left and that he was slow. Most at the club can't speak highly enough of the kid and he won the doubters over in last year's prelim, going back onto the ground, continuing to tackle after dislocating his shoulder and making sure we didn't lose out on rotations. I'm not the only one who thinks he's future captain material.

Outstanding lad. Very pleased he's staying a Tiger.
him tearing a quad muscle off the bone right before his u18 year so he only completed 2 weeks of preseason is another reason why he probably slipped to 53, as he couldn't slim down/get fit for a proper season of footy

iirc he hurt his quad again so he couldn't test at the draft combine

Unlike your club board, the Trade board isn't an echo chamber. Thought you'd have learnt this by now.

Graham isn't an elite mid, he barely touches the ball 14 times. His claim to fame is a game 3 years ago. Obviously my early response is tongue in cheek after multiple Tig supports pumping up Graham like he's the next midfield messiah, despite getting dropped twice by your selection panel this year.

He will leave for opportunity or a pay rise. What's given up for him won't be much.

Decent start by fridge

Not much being said about this bloke. 2nd in the JD and had a pretty good year all things considered.

Reckon he's primed to go next level, I'm talking Jack Steele next level. His game is very similar to Steele's, gut running from contest to contest, elite defensive game with high tackle numbers and pressure acts, can hit the scoreboard, not blessed with speed but can accelerate when needed, has a good inside and outside game with similar leadership qualities.

We'll see much more of Jack around stoppages and being more of a clearance specialist, his best games this year were all in our wins and with a bit more consistency of role I can see him taking over the mantle of No.1 mid.
