Jack Grimes vs Trent Cotchin

Grimes is a consistent performer and will top 3 our b+f this year. Cotch has a lot of improvement to make but right now Grimes is better.

Shit, meant to say clearly better sorry, mainly in response to the halfwit who reckons its not even close.

Its very simple. All tigers fans have this angelic picture of Cotchin in their minds.

He is very good, but right now Grimes is ahead of him, and as the weeks go on he seems to be pulling away.

I think deep down they know who's better...

this thread is really silly both injury interupted careers so far & dont know about grimes but cotchin hasnt even done a decent preseason yet.

pretty obvious isn't it, 3 games is a bit different from a season+3 games

2nd year is an early time to call but 3 games is ridiculous.. we've seen scully 3 times and cotchin 27.

To me, two years is too early to truly judge, especially when they're both injury plagued. Might as well be three games for all it matters.

3-5 years is when you start to get a clearer picture of exactly what players can do.

1st 2nd or even 3rd year is insignificant with these 2 player comparisons really !! they have both had injuries..............perhaps if you might want to start comparing jayden post to jack watts pick 26 v pick 1

Grimes has been better to date but Cotchin is capable of getting to the elite level. Cotchin probably has the greater scope for improvement, whether he gets there or not is another question
