Sucks because hes a good clubman and had a promising start to his career but absolutely the right decision.

Not here to argue if he is worth a place on your list.

Doesn't delisting grimes make it harder for him to get a contract elsewhere. i.e. if he was still on your list he could be picked up as a free agent next friday. As a de-listed free agent he has to wait about a month? It seems strange.

Can still be traded for a token sixth rounder or picked up as a regular FA. Delisting doesn't come into effect until that first deadline.
