Gunston could well become the better player by career's end, but Westhoff is definitely underrated outside Port.

Honestly, there's no point continuing this discussion, they are at very different points in their careers, playing in two very different teams, and clearly Hawks fans (yourself most notably) are gonna love Gunston, and Port fans are gonna love Westy.

Westhoff kicked 0.1 in the 2007 GF, compared to Gunston's 2.1 in the 2012 GF. Obviously the supply to Westhoff in 07 was completely different to what Gunston was getting in 12, but still a weird point to bring up.

This is Gunston's second good to very good season in a row. Westhoff had one in 2007 and since then has been s**t until this season.

There's this bloke from Geelong called Harry Taylor. Then another couple of blokes from Essendon named Jake Carlisle and Michael Hurley.. All would be better swingmen thatn Westhoff

Gunston plays 3rd tall when needed. When he plays as the second KPF at Hawthorn he averages 3.4 goals/game. Westhoff has yet to play 2 good seasons in a row, unlike Gunston, despite being 5 years older. Come back to me when he backs it up like Gunston has
