I think this guy has a bit of talent. Not sure if he’ll get back to the promise he showed in those first handful of games. 8 games across 3 seasons says it all. Collingwood would be moving Krueger you’d think if they pick up Hayes.

He might be able to play as a defensive winger, floating back, but wouldn't have the acceleration to man a forward.

For his sake, I hope thats the case. But some bodies use cant handle the increased workload of full time footy and he just might be one of those.

Exactly. He hardly missed a game in 6 seasons of SANFL with the Eagles. He also played a GF with a fractured leg, so he can deal with playing good footy with pain. He’s just been unlucky with the Saints. At least he got the chance to show what he was capable of on the big stage, if he doesn’t get another chance again. Would love him back at the Eagles.
