G'day Cats fans,

Here are some extended highlights of Jack Henry from the weekend.

As a neutral watching the game I was seriously impressed with his intercept marking ability so I'm glad he got recognised with a Rising Star Nom.

Enjoy.

Very deserving of this weeks nomination.
Lot to like about this kid - the intercept marking is a highlight but I also like the little things - like looking to shepherd after he gives it off , punching to the boundary instead of front and centre and his poise under pressure. Good size and skills as well - should keep an eye on the younger brother as well

Well done, watching on Friday night unless someone had a blinder if he didn't get nominated this week I would have been asking serious questions.

Great effort, his form this year has been unbelievable and has really stood up with Harry and Hendo being out.

Ah yes 1951. Great Stuff.

Is that the 1951 GF? Great photo.

It is so exciting for Henry, to be living the Geelong Cats' dream!

St Mary's
St Josep's
Geelong Falcons + now
Geelong Cats!

Henry's favourite player is Bartel, with Selwood a close second.

Henry went to all three GFs as well.

Henry said that Scarlo's wisdom had filled the Geelong Defence with confidence.

Henry - Statistical Rankings.png

Henry averages 2.2 Intercept Marks per game is ranked No.1 at Geelong + also averages 6.2 Intercept Possessions.

His nickname is 'Jumping Jack' from his Decathlon days.

How great is this mark from the weekend?

Great article in The Age about Jack and what endears him to the club.

"[He's] humble when off the field and highly respected but when he is on the field he is all go and he plays really aggressively and always had a point to prove," Lynch said.

His quietly spoken, respectful manner endeared him to those at Geelong, which only made his game on Friday night more a cause for celebration.
