Stop expecting him to be the second coming of Warren Tredrea and accept his game is more Stewart Dew at 6’4. Stop wanting him to be a Key Pillar up forward, he is an extremely gifted 6’4 Flanker, there have been plenty of great Flankers who have had massive impacts on footy clubs over the course.

May he be our Rohan Smith of the late 20’s and early 30’s. He will play his best games when Georgie and Whitlock/Lord/Visintini are doing well.

Got a long way to go to get anywhere near Rohan smiths output.

Hopefully it’s MG plus Lord/Whitlock deep with Luko pushing up and using his mobility and kicking skills to create chances. We should always have the deepest player in the fwd line because he could give us a Joe the goose every week clearing the zone.

It was basically gap filling last year with the injuries.
Long term it’s hard to pinpoint.
Possibly playing high half forward if he gets his shit together.

3rd tall, icing on the cake.

Turn us on with his kicking but drive us nuts with his overall softness.

Interesting watch and very matchup dependent.

I've got to balance this out because his potential is through the roof and he could be that next great third forward like Gunston but obviously in his own right.

With Dougie coming in, Luko might have to find another role in the team.

As a few have said, if he runs and leads hard, it will give Georgiades and Whitlock more space to work in and Lukosius has the ability to kick into F50 space or goal.

I hope Carr has a sneaky plan for him.

He is the most interesting watch out of all of our players.

His role is to be a lead up centre half forward delivering precision balls into the 50 and taking longer shots to clear the zone defense. Will sometimes play deep 1 out but isn’t ever going to be a crash and bash contested marking forward.

His skill set is unique and will be very good if Josh has a game plan that can utilise his strengths and minimise his weaknesses.

With Luko, George and Whitlock we have 3 elite running key forwards. If we are able to avoid the 'kick it long to Dixon' game plan this year then these guys should get on the end of plenty of goals from transition.

The only downside is I don't think any of them are good bail out options down the line as they aren't suited to standing under high balls. It would be good if we had a ruckman that was a decent overhead mark.
