Im Giving Lukosious the first half of the season, if it doesnt work in the forward line i think we could use him on a wing or defense as a half back quartarback.

I would be keen for Lukosius on the wing once Dougie comes into the team.

Didnt he scoff at the suggestion last year of playing down back even when you guys needed some support down there due to injury?

He sees himself as a forward only?

If he doesn't work forward, I would have him as the third tall, interceptor, run off in defence. His huge kick would be a weapon back there.

Lukosius has maintained both at Gold Coast and when he came to Port that he thinks his best football is played as a forward, that's where he thinks he can give most value. No player is going to refuse to play another position, but that is his stated preference.

Carr in his post-match press conference said one of the problems we had was the forward line didn't move enough. I remember key forwards being way behind the play when we pushed forward - and not just Lord. I would guess Carr's comment was a dog whistle for Lukosius to come into the side this week and set the standard for movement around the forward line by a key forward.
