Exactly, Luko is one of the last players we should be mad at. The defence and mids got their asses beat, there wasn’t much our forwards could do.

Hardwick can coach. Didn’t help to get Jack out of Jack. He doesn’t compete hard enough consistently enough. He never has. He’ll have 3-5 games this year where he’ll “prove” us bedwetters wrong, but the rest of the time he’ll be a bland, non-contributor.

It wasn’t his fault tonight. Georgiades, SPP, Finlayson and others were way worse than him. But he has cost us a first rounder that may well end up a top 6-8 pick. He needs to be bloody good to make it worth our while.

Pretty well every single kick to him tonight was to his disadvantage. Over his head when he was in front, fell short when he was over the back, wrong side etc.

Need to work out if thats because he was woefully out of position or because our kicking to him was horrendous. I'm thinking its option B at the moment.

I'm sure he'll have some good games but at this point it seems incredibly unlikely that we'll get the same value out of him as what we gave up to get him (ie almost certainly a top 10 pick). The trade is hard to defend really.

I think he'll play some reasonable footy you'll just have to accept he's another floater without an iota of mogrel and grit it's about how you use him to be most effective. He needs to be roaming high and delivering into 50 imo.

He's too deep into his career to live up to his draft year hype.

Because it was a future first and given the amount of academy and F/S selections at the top end of this upcoming draft, if they finished around 9th, that pick would blow out to be in the early 20s.
