But until he actually starts to show a bit of care factor at chasing the ball, I'll remain unconvinced. I was glad Brereton pointed it out at one stage.

He's a slight upgrade on Finlayson but shows a similar lack of intensity to Finlayson most of the time.

Yeah the lack of intensity is a concern, but let's see. First game in months - so likely not got a great fitness base etc.

Kicked 79.72 for GC - not the most accurate, but I figured a number of those were long bombs coming out of defence or similar. Decided to do some digging:

2024 suggests those long bombs from outside 50 he nailed last week were not his usual level of conversion. Inside 50 looks decent though.

2023 looks a bit more accurate inside 50, and some huge ones from outside 50, but still suggests he won't be as reliable as we hope (not bad though)

Having another tall helps Georgiades stay inside 50 where he can just roam around and use his speed to mark the ball.

Needs to chase and pressure more but most kicks going to him went well over his head so he didn't even have much of a chance to complete in the air which is the main job for a tall forward.
I'd hope we can finally work on forward 50 entries under Carr and some sort of connection between lines. It's been a consistent failing that Ken covered up with 10 years of bomb it to Charlie and when that didn't work, bomb it to the pockets

The issue is that Lukoisus is not a bash and crash type of player. So it is annoying to see the players bomb the ball on a one on one. You can question his work rate and ability to chase when the opposition team has the ball in their defensive 50.

Expected him to kick goals as it’s the bottom side. Barely touched it.. non competitive.

He’s a lazy footballer, can’t wait to see him and toddy play together.. should be a barrel of laughs

And he isn't a good finisher really. He occasionally kicks a nice long goal and has a weirdly good record in Cairns, outside of that he is extremely inefficient in front of goal.
