Im interested in what Luko brings this year. What is his A game, and what will be his stamp on the game.

Mitch has found a way while being undersized for the power key forward type.

Jack is a bit the same. Strengths would have to be his kicking. Are we seeing him up the ground more? Will be an interesting watch

Late in the 3rd quarter, Luko took a mark on the 50 metre arc down at the northern end. One of our un-numbered players got a tiny break from his defender in the goal square, Luko spotted it and sent an inch perfect foot pass to that player. It was so perfect
That’s one of things that he’s paid to do!
 
This year Luko might be the best kick into the F50.

He kicked a dart in the first quarter that was so fast and low to Benny for 50 metres in the pocket that no one else can kick.

The dude can seriously kick 65 to 70 metres without looking like he's straining with a two week oversized nugget up the clacker. If he gets off the leash, its party time.

He can also pinpoint a kick. I think it was the last quarter and he hit that little dude out of the crowd who was playing Joe the Goose.

Feels like he'll live in the perma tease zone for his entire career

Always showing signs, but never becoming a full jeremy cameron type.

Really enjoying the last couple of days of you, who by your own admission didn't watch the game, jumping onto any negative comment anybody else makes about the game and putting your two cents of agreement in, great stuff.

I didn’t watch the throw leg out that could have caused a bad injury to one of our own players but I did see a fair bit of the game on the stream.
The facts of his football career are there for all to see, potential that has never been truly reached.
Until I see anything different that’s all there is to go on.
I’m not getting caught up in the pre season emotional dribble.
Been there done that.

Think we need to appreciate his strengths and the role he will play to complement Georgiades and hopefully, Whitlock. He’s not our number 1 key forward and he won’t be outmarking Sam Taylor in contested high ball situations. But rather he’ll help our cause by working into space, taking lead up and uncontested marks and then wheeling around and spotting up teammates or kicking long goals from beyond the arc. To really benefit from his skills, we not only need Georgiades maintaining his best form from last year, but also Whitlock providing that contest around the really high incoming ball.
 
Stop expecting him to be the second coming of Warren Tredrea and accept his game is more Stewart Dew at 6’4. Stop wanting him to be a Key Pillar up forward, he is an extremely gifted 6’4 Flanker, there have been plenty of great Flankers who have had massive impacts on footy clubs over the course.

May he be our Rohan Smith of the late 20’s and early 30’s. He will play his best games when Georgie and Whitlock/Lord/Visintini are doing well.
