it's hard to pick a player that i hate the most..... JT....the noble.....but the madge does it every time for me......we should force him to be sterilised so that he can never provide a father-son...

He probably takes the game on more than most of our players, he makes a few mistakes but provides plenty of drive from defence. I think he already is a good player and probably in the top half of the B&F

Madge made some pretty bad stuff ups today. He also got 25 disposals and gave us a lot of rebound. If you took out the stuff ups he'dve been up there with our best players.
He won't be dropped.

I love Madge. He is a leader. Always puts in and yes he does make mistakes, isnt overly quick and times undersized bit he is reliable and puts in

He's generally the last person losing a contest or making a blue in a chain of them. Makes him the obvious one to point the finger at, doesn't make him solely responsible more often than not.

In all fairness, Maynard copped similar flack in his first few seasons too. He often made monumental blunders and still does occasionally.

In all fairness, Maynard was an 18/19 year old kid. Magden is 28 and 33 games in.

I've noticed that as well. It's like opposition forwards leave him isolated as the player under the least amount of forward pressure knowing that he will be the loose player making the exit out of our defensive 50 with the least amount of capability.

Respect for Madgen, but can't see the sense in playing him. He's 28 or so, and has a massive heart, but he won't be in our next finals team. I'd only play him if injuries mean we have to.

Felt really bad for him in the last quarter yesterday when his partially deflected handball went straight to Dusty on the 50 metre line with about seven Tigers players free inside 50...

Its not an excuse. If the fans dont sink the boot into Madge, the club will keep playing him. It's our duty. Maybe we can help him get a tryout in a soccer team.

Some of those yesterday started with mistakes or poor ball use in our F50 and just snowballed as the Tigas do. If he was the only player making these blues in our defence then I could understand the angst. He's been good the last couple of games.
