People are forgetting Nick's talent. Absolute gun and the mark posted above just proved it. Nick's the better player but I'd be tempted to go Jack just because of the phase Melbourne are in. Voted Nick anyway :thumbsu:

haha wtf has happened. How quickly people forget how good Nick is. This is coming from someone that rates Jack very high, equal with Selwood only in the 06 draft IMO... but seriously guys Nick was the best player in the AFL last year according to some, as good as Jack is I don't think he will ever reach those heights.

The only way you would take Jack is if your list was terrible and no hope whatsoever of challenging for a premiership in the next couple of years otherwise Nick was top 3 in the comp before his injury. In fairness Nick may struggle a bit to get back to his very best and Jack is in ripping form but their overall records speak for themselves.

Well If Jack can keep this up for a decade him easily. May not have the skills or courage of Nick but as long as he produced 3 goals a game for a decade him by just.

Nick choked in consecutive Grand Finals, he had a shocking finals series, choking in big games ruins your reputation. ;)

Very different players.
I'd prefer both.
For example if you looked at replacing a player in Hawthorn's line up, you would replace Roughead with Jack. You would replace Buddy with Riewoldt. ( Not suggesting that I would or that Riewoldt is better so dont go crazy hawks ).

He's had an interrupted year and Wayne carey would have done nothing with the horrible delivery into the Saints forward line on the weekend. He single handedly got them to a grand final last year, was awesome through the finals series

I agree with this

Nick's pretty much stopped playing for frees recently so I'm happier about him being considered a champion
