The dive made up for that mark he clearly took to start the match ... didn't like it but it wasn't quite the Danger triple somersault with half pike from last week

Yeah that was baffling, not being paid a mark. Colbert esque.
The umpiring needs to go back to giving benefit of the doubt in favour of the mark, it's a great part of the game.

Needs to keep diving to get the umpires attention, like your flopping mob OP.

Patrick Dangerfield career FF 430, career FA 283 (+147)

big footy flogs wrong once again

The AFL advises the Match Review of yesterday’s 2019 Toyota AFL Grand Final match at the MCG has been completed. No charges have been laid from the match with one incident requiring detailed explanation.

Incidents assessed:
Contact between GWS GIANTS’ Jeremy Cameron and Richmond’s Liam Baker in the third quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed. Baker handballs over Cameron’s head. Cameron leaves the ground in an attempt to intercept the football, and subsequently makes high contact to Baker. A free kick was paid at the time for high contact. It was the view of the MRO that Cameron’s actions did not constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken.

I think it was most likely a communication error between the umpires as it happened right on the 50 in no mans land. The central umpire probably handed it over but due to noise or confusion wasn’t picked up by end zone and hence no one blew the whistle. AFL is obviously a lot better especially with umpires being mic’ed up, but at lower levels I reckon majority of missed decisions happen in that handover zone

The most ridiculous part of that is that they actually bothered to waste time talking of that incident...Clearly they decided to give everyone a pass and plucked some random bullshit out to pretend they looked at anything!

The worst part of that clash was when Cameron who was only ever going for the ball, is checking on Baker and some flog and tough guy wannabe comes flying in to try and pick a fight...

It was a block on Jack. Pretty simple i would of thought. But then again, 90% of MB posters have clearly never played the game.

Funny this is coming from a supporter of a team consisting of Patrick Dangerfield, Gryan Miers and Mark Blicavs.

Wow , just wow

This is from our 2017 final against Geelong. Dangerfield has a massive history of this behaviour, but never gets called out for it.
