His accuracy in front of goals this year has been a bit down.

Hopefully this pre season he can get some serious time in front of the big sticks and work on his set shot.

I hope he kicks 10 and wins by 7 and then the doomsayers might not feel like they have to say he doesn't deserve it.
Following his 8-goal haul against the Saints on Friday night Riewoldt told 3AW Football he had 5 operations during the summer and spent over a month on painkillers.

“I had ankle reco (reconstruction), a couple of hip surgeries, a finger... and a shoulder reco as well” Riewoldt said.

“I spent the next 35 days on painkillers, and 2 weeks in hospital, which wasn’t the best way to spend your off season when most of the boys are away on holidays”.
Definitely doesn't deserve it.

Do we care why he wins it? Have we cared in other seasons why the winner won it? Let's just accept it as a well deserved result for Jack if he gets there. It's not like he's being judged the greatest of all time.

Moved 4 months ago Tugga, just moving from Nîmes to thé côté d'azur today. Good english pubs down there with aussie sport on.
Bloody hell dice, I noticed you had disappeared. So spill, whats the story. Permanent move or extended temporary. Why there? Work? Pleasure? Woman?

correction, two less games, he was subbed off in the first 10 minutes of the match against west coast with concussion and didnt play against GWS.
Jack barely played against Freo at the MCG after copping an early injury. Spent a whole quarter off the ground and was then sent back on because we didn't want to actitivate our sub so early. He didn't move from the square on a day that was 11 degrees and teeemed with rain the whole time so he was basically taking a defender out of the game and was not on there to do anything but be a body in the goalsquare.
It remains as one extra by your criteria.

What a load of rubbish , to win you only need to beat the bloke behind you, i accept he hasnt had his best year but if he kicks more than anyone else in the afl then by gee of course he does
your opinion jobangles, I'll still celebrate if he wins but i feel it came down to luck more than an exceptional year.

I am by no means trying to run him down, love jack but i think it's just realistic to except he has had more than his fair share of luck on his side this year if he takes the medal, still kicked 60+ probs after tomorrow which is still great for a forward!!!

watched the game, he was fit thats why he came back on after a series of medical examinations, hardwick wouldnt be stupid enough to risk riewoldts health, he was running and moving fine, was simply just beaten by mcpharlin

Hawkinsis awesome, and if Jack gets the Coleman he should apologize for depriving Tom of the rightful reward for his awesomeness. That better?

Crap. Jack kicked one goal, in the first 2 mins before he got injured. He was nothing more than a decoy after he strained his ankle.
Run along.
