Jack wins it and the excuses come thick and fast... Buddy out, bla, bla, blah. Barret and Lloyd today said its a joke to win it with 63.

Cotch wins AFLCA and the idiots tell us our coaching staff manipulated the voting.

We get 53k members and get accused of clever accounting.

Seriously i cannot wait for the day we win a flag just to see what excuses everyone comes up with.
I would have just prefered it if he had won it with a decent year, by his own admission he has been flat for most the year and compared to previous years you can tell.

Just a question of thought. When was the last time a team has had a Brownlow Medallist and a Coleman Medallist in the same year? I know Plugger did it.

Now, how about a team that has a Coleman Winner, Brownlow Winner and doesn't make finals. Would be a great stat, I reckon.
Been wondering the same myself when that combo has been done, brownlow, coleman and the team misses finals, would surely be a rare occurrence.

He has had a decent year.
I think your definition and my definition of decent are different tuggs, i dont think he's has a crap year but a fair bit below his best and i am taking into account preseason injuries and being double/triple teamed for most the year that said though, i can see him coming out firing next year!!

I don't know why he's been so ordinary. It's almost as if he'd had 5 different operations during the preseason.

Anyway 60 goals in a season is something Richo only achieved 4 times, Nick Riewoldt only 4 times, Jonathon Brown only 4, Pavlich 5, Gehrig 4. Considering he came into the season underdone that's pretty decent.

Goals in a season is irrelevant because it depends on other factors, like opposition , delivery in the forward line , where you kick them from and mark it etc...

Truth is JR should be the all australian forward pocket for the last 5 years but people are too blind to see as they get court up looking at team structures without seeing the individual player attributes. Some cannot see the woods for the trees . Thats okay because his value is hidden from the main

Now if he wins the Coleman they think he should be All-Australian FF but the truth is he has been the best forward floating third tall playing deep for the last 5 years by the length of the straight.

When we get complimentary forward line around JR we should kick regularly 120 points a game and more in future years

Honestly, i just don't feel he deserves it, so many things have landed his way for him to get it it's not funny, it's just pure luck that he is even in the race at the moment.
Are you for real, You do support Richmond don't you? How about thanking him for holding down the FF spot with two or three opponents each week off the back of some major overhauls in the off season. How many do you reckon he should have kicked?

Im a richmond member and i have to admit he is playing like he deserves it today but that aside your obviously not understanding what i am saying, he wouldnt have won it if franklin and taylor had full years, the have simply played better than him this year.

Freo fans are just bitter they have to pay for flights to see their team bundled out in the first week.

Great work by Jack, can't believe people are bagging him when he has kicked more than any other forward this season.

The bitter tears on the mainboard from mainly Scat and Freo fans is hilarious :thumbsu:
Well done Jack, Dont mind the main board as it now resembles bay 13, Jacks had his own battles this year to overcome and next year as he freshens up and your whole team learns to battle out the entire year he's going to kick even more. The ton is in reach and Jacks footprint will really be seen on the competition.

While it's a good achievement for him I more fear what effect this will have on his already rather large ego considering he did win it while playing a "crap" season..

Damn straight. Jack showed everyone this year. What a legend! If you can have a so called 'crap' year and win a Coleman medal, you are an absolute gun. Go Jack!
