I just ******* sat there a screamed the ******* house down when he kicked the decider and my wife came out and said WTF ARE YOU DOING, so. the prowler GTFO my case.........

LMFAO i love coming on here with a different opinion it gets people so feral.
Well you dug your hole mate:confused:

How about you give up and move on, lets celebrate the end of a wasted season with a Coleman medallist who won it fair and square. It wasn't his fault other fwds weren't up to playing 22 games like he was which is a credit to him for durability and able to come up each week when his side needed him to:thumbsu:

Agree to an extent, Wart. But again, Riewoldt is lucky he is pretty injury resistant, or tough to play through it, and is a clean, fair player so he doesn't get reported. His on the field behaviour has warranted enough to win a coleman. Walker was suspended, Hawkins injured, like Riewoldt last year, PAvlich is a dual position player, etc. Jack is a pure forward, a hardy, clean one at that, so it isn't entirely lucky to have won it.

Bloke sitting next to me kept saying 'miss it...' every time Jack was going for goal, guessing he had a bet on or something

I'm happy he won it and he deserves it, not his fault he can play through injury and lack of fitness and score goals while others are twanging hammies and getting suspended

I agree. He would've won by even more if he didn't have 5 surgeries going into the season.

Win another Coleman in 7-8 seasons and he's on par with Lockett and Dunstall.

Decent effort methinks. Could also be a dual AA, that's pretty bloody good for a 23 year old. Already has achieved more/almost more than Matthew Richardson sadly.

Pretty sure they pay out on both, but some betting agencies, because it is not an outright win, will pay a a dividend, divided by the number of winners, so with the coleman, you'd get 33% of the outright dividend, so if basically, you put $10 on Riewoldt at $6 for an outright win of $60, you'd get $20 and 10 on Pav at $30 for $300, you'd get $100, and a combined $120 for both bets.
Cheers mate.

Nah, we can't make any remarks in a bad light about jack, if we do that we'll eat our own right?
You made a flog comment and got shot down, stop crying and move on.

Congrats to Riewoldt on a thoroughly DESERVED Coleman, perhaps if he was more injury prone, or, got suspended more he wouldn't have won it but he did, and he beat Hawkins and Pavlich who played out of their skins this year and still couldn't kick enough goals to win it.

Jack was not that far off the pace last year but played the second half of the season with a multitude of injuries. Does that mean Franklin didn't 'deserve' it because Jack was not at his best?

For what it's worth I don't think deserve comes into it at all. It's simply the most goals kicked in the season, subjectivity is completely irrelevant to the award - it's not awarded for the best forward - so why bring it up?

If you felt that way you would be better off stating Franklin is the best forward in the game, and I think most here would agree with you (probably while pointing out his weaknesses though :)). But that 'fact' is completely irrelevant to the topic isn't it?

What should happen is before the season starts we should give it to the person who we think will be most deserving. Therefore no dispute.

At the moment i really hate driving my point because i really do feel excited about jack getting the coleman and the way he played yesterday he played like a coleman medalist, obviously i have pissed alot of people of by saying he doesn't deserve it when majority of people think if your at the top then you deserve it which he is/was, fair call!

I would really like to move on from this because i just want to celebrate one of our players getting the coleman just like everyone else, my comments were ill timed and i would like to retract all statments made by me in regards to jack winning the coleman, he deserved it, fought hard for it and is a ******* tiger legend, so can we all move on and just celebrate on his behalf for this great club of ours.

Interesting thought that. Like many I think "He kicked the most goals, ergo, he deserves the medal."

But my gut instinct is that he is not in All-Australian form. He's been a bit down in some important matches, and his kicking accuracy is at the lowest level since he got parked in the goal square.

Then again, if the Coleman medallist doesn't deserve to be in the AA forward line, who does!?!

Jack doesnt deserve the Coleman this year!

He deserves 2!!!! For kicking more goals than any other player from any other team even though the tiges finished in the bottom half of the ladder and lost their decoy Vickery very early on in the piece!! Actually make it 3 Colemans for still kicking goals in a forward line that contained Miller for half a year and then McGuane for the rest!! haha jokes. Go Jack!!!!
