Jack Riewoldt will play his 300th in 3 weeks on Saturday the 17th of July vs Brisbane at the MCG if all goes well. ( Now this Friday the 16th v Brisbane)

He was recruited in the 2006 Draft at pick 13, from the Tassie Marinners.

'Richmond’s Recruiting Manager Francis Jackson was a nervous man in the days leading up to the 2006 AFL National Draft . . .

Jackson knew exactly who he wanted to take with the Club’s first selection in that draft – a Tasmanian teenage star forward by the name of Jack Riewoldt.

The problem for Jackson was that the Tigers had exchanged their original first round draft pick in a deal for Fremantle’s versatile big man Graham Polak.

They had parted with pick 8 and, in return, received Polak and the Dockers’ first-round selection, which was pick 13.' -RFC club website.
I think Greg Miller was involved in recruiting then as well.

An incredibly valuable player over 14 years and one of the great forwards of all time.

Absolute champion. One of the best KPFs of the last 20 years.

And will move into media smoothly as one of the best. So probably not the career for him, he'll be too informed and make too much sense.

What a star he is. The body of work from him has been enormous just enormous.
I remember watching him at Coburg before breaking into the team and he was very cheeky gobbing off at the oppo all the time whilst playing smart footy way beyond his tender age. Said to the mrs that this Riewoldt will be the best of them….. I was right !

We swapped Andy Collins for Grigg which was a win/win.

He was a highly regarded poster here back in the day who had an excellent reading of drafts and trades. However he thought JR was a dud from the get-go and that we'd wasted our pick on him.

Left the board soon after, apparently for a job in recruiting (no kidding)
