AgreeHis greatest asset to the team though is his personality. He oozes confidence and it spreads like wildfire among the team. I was not thrilled when we picked him, but since seeing him i think on personality and leadership alone he was worth the no.1 pick.

good call, need players like him, he'll develop much more than what we see now, more strength in upper body will see him make an impact in the one on one duels...I wouldn't read too much into the pace thing, sure he aint Carl lewis but neither is Jon Brown....his smarts and skill will take him a long way:thumbsu:

I still remember us over looking Campbell Brown because we thought he was not tall enough and to slow .....
Pretty sure Hawks drafted Brown with the pick before our first in 2001, with which we chose Rodan, so we didn't overlook Brown as much as miss out on him. Not saying we would have drafted him or didn't have those misgivings; I wouldn't have a clue, but as it turned out we didn't have a chance to select him.
I like Jack, he's smart and enthusiastic, although I don't think he is a true KPP and I wouldn't be writing off Gumbleton, Sellar, et al just yet.
I love Edwards. Add Connors, who should become a gun, and with good reports of Andy Collins (all tigerTroy crap aside) and we really drafted some footballers in 06. Thumbs up!

someone touched on that earlier, the overriding factor was to keep his trouble making ol man at bay:rolleyes:
