Great kid. Shows some poise and is hard at it. Good skills on both sides and his enthusiasm is great.

Lots to like about this kid. When he adds some muscle he'll be good to watch.

i agree with all of that.
plus he's improved so much since the games i watched him play in last season, he looks like a real star, pretty much the same as all the young blokes, i cant wait till a few more years, he'll be a perfect forward.

Is a great player. Has already passed Hughes but having said that, I hope Hughes makes it as well.

Should remain in the squad for the rest of the year.

You have to remember KPP players usually dont play their first year of footy at all, and he managed to get some games. This kid will be a monster player, like his cousin and hopefully MAY reach his standards after a few years in the gym.

CANT WAIT

I believe he will surpass Nick quickly in every aspect.

Will be a great player, hopefully can stay in the seniors for the rest of the year.

3 goals today, 17 disposals last week, knows where to lead, can mark, has good skills and is deceptively quick.

Has great footy smarts too.

he set up a goal in the 3rd term with a smart kick he has a good football brain and comes what may he shoul not be dropped.

For once we looked as though we could have trumped the draft with this one, is well ahead of his tall peers of same draft...He'll get much better than this to:thumbsu:
Giddy up ...:thumbsu:

I still remember us over looking Campbell Brown because we thought he was not tall enough and to slow .....

Thank f..k we got this one right

Has the footy smarts of a Lance Whitnall.... hopefully with a bigger engine and less injury prone

Realy got a chub over this kid ... but we have said that before

I don't think we could have taken the risk. it would have attracted his old man back to the place. I loved Mal when he was belting the shit out of Cartlon blokes as a player, but I think he caused us too much grief when involved behind the scenes in the 90s.

This is as good a comparison as I have seen. I remember the lamented Weaver's negative comments about his running style prior to the 2006 draft, and saw what he meant today - so I suspect Jack will always be a little slow around the ground (and hence never the same player as his cousin) but like Big Red, his footy brain will compensate a lot for his lack of foot speed. Lots to like, especially when you remember the deal to get him brought Graham Polak as well.

sat on the fence with this kid after his first few showed JS in what he had to offer. Winning me over with each game, keep it going Jack. Lets get through this season, put the muscle on for next and start busting some packs with that frame dude. Will become a pretty imposing unit when he gets there. ;)

He,s a Footballer not an athlete. He,ll be our Adam Hunter

Agree. Doesnt have the athletic ability of his cousin but is a much smarter footballer.

He doesn't have Whitnalls physic either, and is probably more determined to get everything out of his body compared to whitnall.

His greatest asset to the team though is his personality. He oozes confidence and it spreads like wildfire among the team. I was not thrilled when we picked him, but since seeing him i think on personality and leadership alone he was worth the no.1 pick.
