Rd 4 v West Coast

In one of the bets games of his career, Sinclair ended with 26 disposals (17k, 9h), 6 marks, 432 meters gained and 2 tackles. Playing off half back, he managed 11 intercept possessions while also getting forward to kick 1.1.

Sinclair had a strong performance in the win against Gold Coast, finishing with 20 disposals (11k, 9h), 4 marks and 10 intercepts.

RD 9 v Geelong

Sinclair received a huge gash to his cheek in the first quarter but still managed to be one of our best with 17 disposals (12k, 5h), 5 marks, 5 rebounds, 5 score involvement and 5 intercepts.

The fans have spoken, and as voted by you, Jack Sinclair is this week’s Dare Iced Coffee Sainter of the Round.

The running half-back’s courageous efforts won over the faithful on Friday night, with his bravery, pace and determination cutting through in the 21-point loss.

Sinclair collected 17 disposals, five intercepts and five rebound-50s as the Saints took the fight right up to the Cats, finishing as one of his side’s most influential players.

A deep and bloody gash on his cheek was a visible reminder of his tenacity in the contest, with the wound opening back up across the game as he continued to put his body on the line.

Sinclair’s bravery and creativity with the ball stood out under lights, directly resulting in the Saints’ first major of the night.

RD 10 v Western Bulldogs

In a terrible performance, Sinclair was one of the few who stood up with a season best game. He ended with 28 disposals (18, 10h), 5 marks, 3 tackles, 9 rebound 50s and 584 meters gained.

His performance was rewarded by being voted best by the fans for a 2nd week.

17 disposals (10k, 7h), 6 marks, 5 tackles, 1 contested mark.


RD 12 v Sydney
29 disposals (16k, 13h), 4 marks, 1 tackles, 8 score involvements, 369 meters gained,


RD 13 v Geelong
24 disposals (15k, 9h), 1 mark, 6 tackles, 381 meters gained, 11 intercepts.
 
RD 15 v Richmond
Playing in a backline that only conceded 2 goals, Sinclair was strong again. He ended the wet night with 23 disposals (15k, 8h), 4 marks, 7 intercepts and 333 meters gained.


RD 16 v Collingwood
Sinclair's strong season continued in the win against Collingwood with 24 disposals (19k, 5h), 8 marks, 5 tackles, 4 rebound 50s and 475 meters gained.


RD 17 v Brisbane
Jack influenced at both ends in the big win against Brisbane, finishing with 21 Disposals (14k, 7h), 5 marks, 7 score involvements and 2 tackles. He has settled into his new role in the backwash, with 5 rebound 50s and 5 intercept possessions.

Saints secure Sinclair signature
Jack Sinclair’s impressive 2021 season has been rewarded with a fresh three-year contract.

The 26-year-old has excelled since his move to the half-back line, his seventh season at the club.

“We’ve been really pleased with Jack’s performances this season, so it’s great to have him re-commit to the club,” Head of List Management James Gallagher said.

“His speed, skill and running power allows him to play a number of different positions for us and his form this year has been exceptional.

“It has also been great seeing him take on more ownership of our group off the field, finding his voice as an emerging leader among the players.”

A lifelong Saints fan, Sinclair said he was thrilled to cement his future at the club.

“I’m really excited to stay at the club and play a part in what we’re building,” Sinclair said.

Sinclair was drafted to the Saints with pick No. 1 in the 2015 Rookie Draft.

Since making his debut against Greater Western Sydney in Round 1, 2015 he has gone on to play 115 games in the red, white and black.
