Not too much of a surprise that we're not well represented in the squad this time around. Thought Dylan Roberton was a slight chance but he wasn't quite as damaging later in the year, still a fantastic season though. I hope his ankle heals up quick so he can get a solid preseason in.

Not sure on whether these two will actually make it to the final squad as there's some pretty stiff competition. Nonetheless, congrats to them both. It's been a tough season but their stand-out performances and leadership have been great to watch.

Riewoldt should be a lock for CHF.

Steven an outside chance of making the final 22, he's had a great year but the competition is tough for midfield spots.

Montagna should've at least made the 40 man squad.

Agree with all points. The only way I can see rooey missing out is if they put Cameron or Kennedy FF with roughy at CHF. But I think riewoldt definitely deserves it, especially being in a team that only won a few games.

Surely Nick is an absolute moral for CHF this year.

He kicked 50.36, being 8th overall on 2013 goalkicking, & lead the competition in marks with 202 (19 in front of Trav Cloke who was 2nd with 183). Avg 16.3 disposals a game playing the hardest position on the ground.

Cameron and Roughead will both presumably make the 22, but I still think that Riewoldt is good chance. There haven't been that many small forwards to talk about this year, which probably helps his chances.

Steven's probably a little less likely, but he should be able to muscle himself in. Still, AA always seem to have a midfield made mostly from the top teams.

Roberton and Montagna were a bit unlucky.

I really really hope Riewoldt gets in. He really would deserve it.

Unfortunately the All-Aus selectors place too much value on goals. I get the feeling they may go with Roughead at FF, Cloke at CHF and Cameron in a forward pocket if they want a 3rd tall.

I hope not, as Roo is just about the last genuine CHF left. Incredible work rate. Such an important presence up the ground. And still managed a 50 goal season. I would name him at CHF purely because he is THE best true CHF in the game. I am hopeful that the selectors see it that way.

Good reward for a great season for Steven but I don't like his chances against some incredible midfield opposition.

Yeah it's a funny one, this has definitely been Joey's best season, better than 09/10, but in a terrible side we were never gonna get more than 2 blokes in the squad. Happy for Steven to get the nod, even though I think Joey's probably just been better.

Easily, but the AFL would be desperate to give GWS their first AA. Don't be surprised if it happens.

Riewoldt has comfortably been the 2nd best forward this year after Roughy, I think even most neutral supporters would agree.

Was interesting to see most seemed to lean towards Steven and Riewoldt for the BnF in that hotseat video, Montagna only managed a few mentions.

Steven wins a lot more hard ball than Montagna and does things that are more noticeable like consistently breaking the lines. If it came down to Steven vs Montagna I can see why they went with Steven.

Whole half forward line is questionable, two mids and a player who probably shouldn't even be there.

And I'm not going to start on the Coleman medallist being shunted into the forward pocket

As always!

Quite ok with Wingard getting FP. Didn't realise he slotted 40 goals

Fk if the kid we pick up at #3 is anywhere close to him in 2 years. I'll be haps.
