Congratulations Cats, you have certainly done better out of this one. The extraordinary circumstances of the trade gave Gallagher and St Kilda no leverage at all unfortuantely. Hopefully he can find some happiness and get back to his best.

Great outcome for the Cats, potentially, to have gotten as good a ready-made temporary replacement for Kelly as they could find and to have avoided giving up any of the Kelly pick haul...
Credit to the Saints for looking past the compensation to an extent and helping Steven out, reckon they have carried themselves well.

58 is a fair price lets be honest. Steven is a fat turd who has multiple issues. He will never get back to what he was, wont even be on an AFL list after 2021.

Did wonder about that, at completely opposite ends of the spectrum, sounds like Acres was really hit by it.
Always a shame when they're solid citizens and in his case, I reckon there's unfulfilled potential with his injuries and the way he was utilized.
Hope Acres can go well with the Dockers.
