Having been given his marching orders, Watts toured the Port Adelaide facilities. Can't confirm he met Kochie.

Rumour mill has been stirring up all sorts of noise about Watts to the Swans. Its not exactly new news, with whispers and murmurs, and a fair bit of wish listing since July.

However, having blogged and casted about it about a month ago, long before it broke as a legitimate rumour/connection, Mitch Cleary on AFL Trade Radio confirmed the link, and its gone into overdrive ever since.

Discussed at length on trade radio, rohan connolly discussed it on his normal afternoon bit and its going to get a run tonight no doubt.

For the Watts trade to happen, the Swans will need to cut Tippett.

Hearing he wants to stay in Melbourne (the city not the club). Who would take Tippett anyway? Couldn't make a prelim team and on big $$$, his career has jumped the shark.

Tippett only marginally a better bet than Vickery.

Not sure why anyone would take him unless the Swans were going to pay over half his salary.

Could Tippet be used as a pure ruck?

He was best there from memory a few years ago where he played a great first half of the year before getting injured.

Expect he is slowing up now and would struggle to keep up with guys like Martin, Gawn, Jacobs and McEvoy...

Similarly to Vickery and Rhys Stanley, am not sure they have much currency bar depth, and the current clubs will need to pay a large amount of their salaries...

Actually makes a lot of sense. Glamor of Melbourne without the limelight and fills a need at the Swans.

Bro. Your BF posts are worse than your tweets. Is it because you have more characters to spin s**t with?

Watts has elite foot skills. This has been an issue at the swans for a good decade and has hurt them in their last couple of grand finals.
I'd expect him to have a career best year out of the melbourne bubble if a move to sydney transpires.
