Surely you jest! 2nd round pick? Watts has barely shown he is even a 2nd rounder.. PLUS a player? Did ya see Whitey play against WCE? There is room for White still

I wouldn't be against going after Dal Santo which I saw somewhere. Upgrade on Grigg, whose role can be better played by Ellis anyway. Dal Santo maybe a tad old though.
Easily worth 2nd rounder , He is not as people make out just needs to be in the right team with support
the players that i mentioned are all surplus to our needs and wont be there in 2 years time

Maybe, but I've had enough of giving players a second chance/merely adding experience to the list. So far, it's worked well, but I would rather go for a big big star.

Im a yes but in the current market with GWS and co got with a bit of of spre coin we would have to pay overs, so on that basis no..

market price - yes

Despite what people think about him, he is a No 1 draft pick and the Demons will want adequate compensation via the trade table. I do not believe we would be willing to give up what they would believe him to be worth. He's not the complete spud everyone gleefully says he is.
I rather the chances he would be given directed to the likes of elton or mcbean down the track. He will never ever justify the no 1 tag. Good KPP attack every single contest like their life depends on it. Read richo, nick riewoldt and Jon brown. Jack watts girly approach to footy is diametricály opposed to this. Not worth a pinch of the proverbial in my books

He might be worth picking up but he needs to get out of Victoria. The medias criticism is going to kill his career
Yes, that has definitely worked for Tambling.

Don't want him. We will need to give a second rounder say pick 26ish minimum and I don't think he is worth that. Melbourne will aks for a first rounder.

Poor contested mark, soft as butter dime a dozen player. You don't recruit someone just because they were a number 1 pick. Would prefer we use that pick on a young mid or ruckman.

JAMES FRAWLEY DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!

Not at all, he's a cancer.
He's a big part of why Melbourne have such an awful approach to training.

See his decline in the last few years as playing proof.

This has got CRAZZZZY VOSSSSSY written all over it. Just sit back, enjoy the fun of CRAZZZZY VOSSSSSY ****ing their club.... again.

Part of me says yes, but most of me says no. Softer than the lovechild of Jordan McMahon and Sean Grigg. Lazier than the lovechild of Clayton Collard & Daniel Connors. Built like Tarzan, plays like Jayne Mansfield after the car crash.

Jayne could never keep her head in a tricky situation.

Character wins premierships, not just skill. All good teams have skill. Jack Watts doesn't inspire his teammates, he's a symbol of mediocrity and softness.

I'd rather the opposite to a Jack Watts - a Jake King, who is less gifted but is a symbol of hardness and mental determination.

Before he was drafted I was critical of Watts for not applying for the draft until the later stages of the year for whatever reasons - he's never had the big heart and passion to march with a group towards a premiership, he seems happy just to make a career and a good time. There's nothing wrong with that, but it won't inspire teammates to be the best and make every sacrifice they can to make it happen.

That shambles that employs him would be asking for all sorts or ridiculous compensation picks that a #1 draft pick should warrant. It's now abundantly clear that he is not even close to the best from 2008 so the currency would be that of a 2nd rounder. Don't want to see any of his type of game at Punt Road.

Jack Watts could have been a great player if Collingwood/Fremantle/Richmond or any club other than Melbourne drafted him.

But by now he's an easy target, confidence is completely shot and has developed habits that will be irreversible.

Basically he's been poisoned by Melbourne's culture.

I actually don't mind Watts...
His problem is that he was one of those school kid champs who did well amongst his peers but perhaps never really had to sweat and push and work and grind...
AFL is a hard taskmaster and as has been stated, needed a Malthouse at Collingwood or a Roos/Longmire at the Swans to teach him the tough lessons.
Has talent but appears to feel entitled.

Again... GWS for me.

Frawley is bad news people!

Great defender but he has a lazy attitude and along with Sylvia and Garland makes jokes and takes training as a jog.

I don't think I want him unless he's willing to put in serious hard yards.

And you don't think the current environment is contributing?

And you don't think the current environment is contributing?

Probably is part of it, but I'd think when you are under this pressure making jokes about the situation isn't the attitude anyone wants.
It's not one or two jokes but they are a real problem.
