might be an act and he might be playing it up but he ain't clever. He had no real commentary just a bunch of bitterness about how the game owes him and how it could be better.

anyone who thought he had a point was projecting their own opinions because the guy didn't say one coherent and well thought out point in the whole interview. it was embarrassing.

Devine was a nuisance dedicated to sanity. In Jacko's case, sanity, is getting people to see the world your way. Devine was appointed coach because he was cheap and the club was stony broke.
 
His views on St.Kilda were interesting, well, not exactly his views, more the fact that he was able to get Mike to publicly agree with him. He was also right about the problems at Melbourne that have plagued the club since his time there.

As others have previously mentioned, their are truths within his story telling and acting the fool for the camera.

But loved the story about his days at East Fremantle (I think that was it) when he took out his key forward teammate in training so he could take his spot, then when he went to Richmond they wouldn't let him within 100m of Royce Hart. That was bloody hilarious and not that surprising.

False beliefs (delusions): You strongly believe something is real, but it's not. Come on, you didn't see that in the interview? He really believes Mike Sheahan is the devil incarnate. Jacko is a psychiatrists dream....he was nuts back in the 80's, he 's even nuttier these days.

Sounds like his behaviour has been pretty consistent throughout. The "act" started before there was an audience.

Yep i do. That's what i'm saying.

He saw his act working in his formative years on smaller groups...then amplified it as the audience got bigger.

His act is a public thing. Bigger the audience, bigger the act.

I was just saying that there was never no audience. Performers always cut their teeth. There is always an audience no matter how small.

If there was no audience, the Jacko Act would never have evolved.

I would assume he doesn't rant at the mirror while shaving.
