Stop getting my hopes up.

Macrae can be the best player in this draft or close and with the success Malthouse has had with Pendlebury I see him having no trouble developing Macrae into something excellent also.

As an opposition fan who understands how dangerous Carlton's list is and how good Macrae is, it is a scary thought.

I thought he was always gonna be a lion. But i dont think at the time they thought Sam Mayes would be available and now it appears he will be with the sliding of Grundy to Port if they do take him, which personally i cant understand why they would.

Also surely the tiggies wouldn't past on him for Vlastuin. Macrae has as much inside ability in an onball position for the future IMO.

Probably one of the most underrated players in the competition, let alone in our team.

Doesn't get a lot of recognition in awards like the Brownlow, but he just keeps racking them up, and his vision is second to none. Was the perfect player for us.
