For those of you who want to get a look at the likes of Hamling, Thurlow and Hartman in the VFL.

Spring Creek Reserve is the old Torquay footy ground just off the surf Coast Hwy.

I thought they all presented very well too. Confident but not arrogant. Toumpas is going to be a fan favourite of all teams I reckon - a very likeable guy.

With the exception of Taylor Garner, who came across as an arrogant tool.

Well we are now 7 rounds in and Jackson has made the team for this week end. Hope he has a great game and continues on his great per season and VFL form. I think this bloke will be a rippa for us, shows great poise with the footy and by all reports does everything right both on and off the field!

Extremely versatile sized player, although we lose Murdoch of similar size I believe Jackson might just have a little more defensive capabilities although his experience is zilch!
Tough game first up might be the giant stride forward he's looking to take, if he plays well he'll be in the frame for senior selection throughout the year.

Think a few of us were like WHO? When our first pick came last year, but boy oh boy he looks the goods . He actually looks taller out there then what I thought, and just fitted.
Chris Scott got major selection headaches comin up

As we'd expect he looks like (another) quality all round player. Fitness wise he was probably done by half time but that's the easiest thing to work on.

Just gives Scottie more options down back, and that's what we've needed.
 
I'm very impressed with this boy. I thought his debut was very solid considering the opposition. It certainly wasn't the easiest game to debut, but his quality shone through. I can see a big future ahead for this young man.
 
Was super impressed with his debut tonight. He's obviously still got a lot to work on but I loved his composure and energy. He didn't seem over-awed at all and just did what he needed to do. If he can improve at a steady rate it'll solve a lot of our backline issues (impending retirements) in the upcoming years.
