If they swapped guernseys you'd be batting just as hard for Jackson - that's the problem when you make an irrational claim about a player's supposed lack of ability based purely on who they play for before they've got so much as a season under their belt.

Your opinions can be reduced to partisan bias.
Who in their right mind would swap guernseys from Adelaide to.....wait. :D

Maybe he was a top-5 draft prospect who tore his hamstring off the bone and in the resultant reconstructive surgery suffered nerve damage that saw him unable to lift his foot and wiggle his toes for a very long time.
And that's partly the reason why no one else wanted him

Apart from the usual spiel of "blah blah blah, youngsters need time, give him a chance", given the severity of his injury and the development year he missed it's a miracle he's gotten back so quickly, if at all.

Cut him some slack.
Everyone has a past and if you're fit enough to be playing at the top level then you're open to criticism.

Problem is your saying he's a slow learner despite the fact he was injured for a long time. Your criticisms is based on made up fantasies where people without functioning hamstrings can play AFL.

And that's the bottom line - it was a catastrophic injury with surgical complications that caused him to miss over a year of football and endure all the disadvantages that go with it.

I have no doubt that if he'd done his ACL and had the same amount of time off with a similar recovery and debut period there'd be the usual automatic leeway where his ability wouldn't be questioned, and rightly so.

Yet because it was his hammy apparently he's subject to the old maxim of "well, you cross the white line and you're 100% fit lol".

Davis is playing the introductory part of his career as a defender, but long term the popular consensus is he'll settle in at CHF. With this in mind, as well as the fact that Trengove is yet to settle into a position, it's tough to judge.
