Thought he was really important for us today. Could be that that run all day and rack it up type player for us - to complement Tuck who does this and Deledio, Foley, Cotchin who are probably more burst player atm. Just needs to learn through experience not to sh!t himself sometimes and get free's called against (usually for incorrect disposal when instead he should just "try" to get rid of it the umpire would call "no chance" and ball it up - but he was good in that regard today as well).

Agree fully, he's a unique player in our team and something we really lack. A big bodied midfielder. Doesn't give up the pill, great kick. Wish he'd played more games this year.

Agreed, he's been really good the last couple of weeks. Huge unit, something we need in the midfield, but like you said he just needs to kick it long sometimes instead of shitting his pants and trying to weave past every player on the opposition team for no real gain.

Firstly im still not convinced,

however, his last quater today was sensational. He was richmonds best in the forth quater no doubt. He still takes too long to dispose of the ball though, needs to try more first option footy

Agreed. Gets caught too much. Does a lot of good things but too many dumb things that cancel the good out.

Jacko appear moves in slow motion when he has the ball. each time he props and swings around on he preferred side it takes ages and he was, lucky freo wasnt tackling him. He need to be a bit quicker because he turns like an elephant.

I concede, best game I've seen from him...sailed close to the wind but was generally very good...still, as Paris Hilton once said- "one swallow doesn't make a summer video"... still don't rate him...needs to string these types of performances together and in games where the opposition aren't as crap as they were today...still on my shortlist for letting go...

Agreed Krusty,
A numbnut who plays half alright when the opposition play likes numbnuts.
Jackson makes Royce Hart (after the knee problems) look like Usain Bolt.

Dribble on a flat concrete surface in 40 degree heat moves quicker than Jackson.

Gets a kick in open space, gets a brain freeze when opponents near him.

Next....

We've found your weakness peejay! ;)

If it's an Admin and it bleeds, we know he supports Jackson.

(Is 'clowns' a swear word in Admin speak)

Just can't see how people think he will get delisted. Who was the last AFL player to gert delisted after playing in the seniors for most of the year.???

Nah Clowns isn't a swear word - ****wit is !!!

10/21 games is most of the year?

Thought it was a few more - so will play half the year in the ones and including what the last 6 or 7.

doesn't sound like someone that will be delisted to me.

Jackson will most likely stay on the list, but to suggest it is out of the question to delist him is the typical mantra our club has taken. We keep far too many average players on our list in the hope they have some miraculous improvement, and most of the time it never comes funnily enough.

It seems like it is Jackson vs Polo in the delist stakes.

why would u even think about delisting any of these two?

We have had adecent year without injuries whats going to happen when, deledio, Cotch, Tucky and Foley get injured...

didnt think of that, u dont delist a player just because someone else has their spot, we need depth and variety

Johnson re-signing made it much harder for these guys. I get the feeling Polo will be moved on.
